Monument Rock is an historical landmark located off of Mount Herman Rd. and Nursery Rd. Miles of tails weaving in and out of this rare finger of Pike National Forest. The hike seems to be an easy one through wooded areas and a beautiful meadow leading to Monument Rock. Look closely at the rock and you will find bits of quartz and feldspar pressed together. There’s also a great pond where your pooch can take a dip.
